FAQ

Slider & Belt Support Beds: frequently asked questions

Supplying Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the wider region from Singapore. Philippines · Indonesia · Malaysia · Vietnam

What is the difference between a slider bed and an impact bed?

Impact beds absorb the energy of falling material at the loading point. Slider beds support the belt where impact is lighter, usually after the impact zone, to stop belt sag and improve skirt sealing.

What information do you need to quote slider & belt support beds?

Please send the belt width, troughing angle, material drop height, maximum lump size and the length of the loading zone. Site photos and drawings help us recommend the right option quickly.

Do you supply slider & belt support beds to the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam?

Yes. We are based in Singapore and supply customers across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Delivery terms are stated on each quotation.

What is the lead time?

Lead time depends on the product, size and quantity. We confirm it in writing on the quotation, and can advise on stocking critical spares for planned shutdowns.

Can I get a datasheet or technical specifications?

Yes. Specifications for conveyor impact protection systems depend on the manufacturer’s range, and we provide the datasheet that matches the product we quote. Use the “Request documents” link on this page.

Do you help with installation?

We provide installation guidance and documentation with every supply, and can discuss on-site support for your project. After installation we follow up on performance.
